I've got a bone to pick with this listing. But first off, this is a nice, powerful laser. The laser features a hefty battery that requires removable for charging, but the chassis is solid. The cap options are fun, and the laser itself is well-focused and bright.Where I take a HUGE exception is how bright this is - this is a Class III laser, which means it's anywhere between 5-100mW. This laser is powerful enough it can burn dark objects up close, and I'm guessing it's on the upper end of its class, comparing to some other Class III lasers I have. You should NOT be advertising this for "teasing pets", and this is WAY too bright for presentations unless you want your audience seeing spots. Class III REQUIRES laser eye protection if you get hit with direct or reflected beams. It is properly marked on the product, but the listing does not include this fact whatsoever, and you should not be aiming this at a cat or person. They should remove their last picture, and properly advertise the class of this laser on its listing (the print is too small on the sticker to see it on the pictures). That being said, if you want a well built, functional green laser for a decent value ($23-$25) that is CLASS III and NOT DESIGNED FOR PETS OR AIMING NEAR PEOPLE then this is a good choice. But this listing fails its customers on educating them on the proper, safe use of this type of product.

I only review things after I've had a chance to really use them. After extensive use, I am happy to recommend the "Green High Power Laser Pointer, Long Range Laser Pointer High Power with 5 Pcs Star Cap for Outdoors/Astronomic/Construction". This Green High Power Laser Pointer feels really well made. It measures 7.25 inches in length, around .75 inches wide, and it weighs 4.85 oz (138g).In the box, you will find the Green High Power Laser Pointer itself, the rechargeable "18650" 6800mAh 3.7v battery, a battery charger with USB type-A plug, and 5 pattern adjusting lenses which screw into the front of the pointer to create fun effects you can project onto the wall.I wanted the Green High Power Laser Pointer to use primarily during the day as a pointing device when "birding" with friends. If I want to point out a bird I can direct the green laser dot in the general area of the bird (never point the laser directly into the eyes of any animal or person!). Even on a bright day, the green dot is easy to see quite far away. The Green High Power Laser Pointer has many other uses as well. I've used to point out various of a building from a distance, and I've used it to project a green line into the night sky so I can point out the locations of various constellations and even galaxies.A single charge lasts a LONG time when using the Green High Power Laser Pointer. After extensive use, you can slip the batter into the included charger which can be plugged into a USB type-A power supply (not included). The LED on the charger shows red when the battery is charging and turns blue when the battery charging is complete (see photos). The Green High Power Laser Pointer feels good in the hand. It feels solid, well made, has rubber o-rings throughout to protect it from the elements. The switch feels good as though it will last a long time. The Green High Power Laser Pointer comes with 5 screw-in pattern adjusting lenses which work great. I'm not sure how I would use them but they do work. (See photos.)Overall, I think this Green High Power Laser Pointer represents a good value for anyone looking for a good, bright, reliable green laser pointer.

Ah, as our mighty tallest purple believed… lasers are what the people want! Now if I only had a shark to attach it to its head. No but seriously… this laser is very impressive with its 5 prism options and the rechargeable capabilities via USB, I am so happy! I used to have a love for these things when you’d see them at grocery stores on the impulse buy section next to the register.. but alas, as they all needed those button cell batteries, and that’s so expensive, I let go of my addiction. Until NOW! This laser pointer has reinvigorated my love for them with a passion! Seriously, get one, you won’t be sorry.

What a blast for kids (with supervision)This laser has been a lot of fun for the grandkids. It showed up quickly after ordering. It's packaged in a magnet closing box with foam cutouts for all the parts, but they were in a jumble when they got here. Still it's a decent way to store the laser on a book shelf. The kit includes a rechargeable battery, a USB cable, and a charger with a light to indicate charging status. The laser itself is pretty powerful, but it's not especially concentrated and spreads out fairly quickly. I am able to see it shine on a mountain that is about a mile away. It's powerful enough to see it at midday at around 100 yards. It also shines on low clouds at night. It's powerful enough to shine on bits of dust in the air and they glisten brightly. My cat wouldn't chase the spot, but he was mesmerized but the glowing dust and started swiping at it. The beam (think light saber) is super bright andNow for the really fun part. There are 5 silver 'caps' that are each a different prism. Screw them on and the light is sent into different and fun arrangements such as multiple 4 pointed stars or a hundred dots. Twisting the laser with the different caps really made the kids go wild, and they love holding and shining it themselves. Now a warning. As a healthcare worker, I know dang well that this laser will cause eye damage. It's bright! There's a feeble warning with it, but it's not stern enough. And of course shining this thing at an aircraft will have the feds literally tracking you down within minutes. That being said, it is still a great fun and I sometimes play with it when the kids aren't around. I remember paying lots more than this for a lesser laser a couple of decades ago. This is a fun toy. 5 stars.
