This planter has everything you need for a tomato plant! It is easy to assemble and the trellis can be built taller with the supplied pieces, if needed, as the plant grows. There is also a water reservoir that provides consistent moisture or the plugs can be removed after a heavy rain to drain some of the water. I highly recommend this planter.

This was the most fun I’ve had in a while, putting it together a product. It was like advanced tinker toys, and I was very proud of myself when finished because I’m a complete idiot about this kind of assembly in general.. it’s plenty sturdy. My jasmine is happily placed in it ready to grow as tall as that trellis and I didn’t even look at the directions. It was so easy and intuitive to figure out. Yay.

Bought a second planter. The first kit came with a spade and rake plus zip ties to tab crawling plants. Reordered. The second kit arrived two days later. My first impression is it was a returned kit. Realized my perception is this because compared to the first set a few items are missing. There is no spade or hand rake or zip ties.Didn’t buy the planter for these to be included. Looked at instructions and posting. Did not notice these perks listed. The memo is inconsistency. Nothing to one star about. Since it was not part of the purchase. There’s plenty of zip ties for both towers. Typically use twine or OG bread tie wire made for produce. The two kits are equipped to connect it using as a single twice as big. There’s affixed hinges for this purpose on the base.Would recommend and repurchase again. Giftable, too 😁/ updateWay nicer than expected. Bought on a lightning deal to add to the experimental garden ideas to teach neighbors who are part of the community garden. Grow food on their porch and limited yard or inside during winters. Partnered with an affordable grow light. The color matches our porch deck colors. Fits perfect by the area built to host a green space. Upon set up and trying different areas prior to potting discovered this gem looks great on both sides of the entrance at the top of the steps when reaching the porch platform. Using them to frame the sides should be a lot of fun the next grow season. This is a great example to showcase for the community for another option to grow food in a home garden.A few things I like are the trellis, height, color, easy to assemble, water release options, having a catchment for water could be helpful if do not wish it to drip on the deck or floor. And wheels. The material to make the container is solid. These are designed to hook together and include the links on the rectangle posts inserted to hold the box together. Plus you’ll notice the base has connectors where the wheels go.One tip … pay close attention to the directions when it’s time to insert the tubes for the trellis. The base four that go into the sides are the longer tubes. Silly me didn’t think I needed to read that part of the directions. It was easy to disassemble a the base and add longer tubes. For me, assembled a layer then connected to the next level. Went fast and tapped on the top frame to snug the poles. The only concern is it’ll leak out of the sides. Clear caulk inside along the seams can be helpful. Make sure it’s the right caulk. But challenge if wish to disassemble to connect two planters. The lightning deal makes this a fantastic deal.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌱

My mom said, “Nothing like picking a fresh tomato and making a sandwich!” She’s in her 80’s and had a shoulder replacement so her strength and range of motion is greatly reduced. My husband suggested getting a container and planting a tomato plant. Brilliant! I saw this on Amazon. It was easy to put together. There’s one more section that can be added to the top. We will add it if needed. Love that it’s on casters and easy to move around if needed. A self watering space at the bottom. We placed it on her deck outside of her den. Easy access for her! Just waiting to make a fresh tomato sandwich!

Assembly-I am a relatively weak woman over 70 years old and, yes, I assembled this without help and without tools ( other than taking off a shoe and tapping a bit with the heel). The pieces fit together very easily and snugly. I wish the instructions had mentioned the corner connector rods have a small projecting bit near the top which needs to be oriented to the outside. It took me a while to grasp why two of the rods went fully into place and two didn’t. But I figured it out eventually-and if you assemble one, now you know!I used the wheels, which are optional, because I am using this inside. It has been easy to roll on low rise carpet and tile. Yes, I’m using it inside the house and it definitely looks nice enough for interior use.The split-leaf philodendron I have put in the planter had successfully toppled over three other pots, despite being supported with various trellises and counterbalanced with large rocks. It feels very solid in its new container and I like the option of allowing fronds to dangle out at various heights or to keep them upright. In the photos, you’ll see that I took one before completing the trellis. Here’s another thing I really like - you can make the trellis stop at any intersection. To make it look finished, you simply use the 3-piece connectors rather than the 4-piece ones when you want to finish it off. Very versatile! And it is easy to remove and add back the side supports if you want them out of the way to reach in.When I filled it with some rocks, dirt, plant, and water-nothing leaked out. Hooray!! That means I assembled it well and it really was easy!! However, if you want drainage, you just don’t put the plugs in the drain holes.I really recommend this item. If I eventually decide to grow beans or tomatoes, I’ll probably buy another. It is certainly a great value for the price.
