It also serves as bird netting and shade cloth. This knitted netting can be stretched across a pond, swimming pool, or other water feature and secured with rocks or pins, effectively saving you hours of pond care each autumn. STRONG MATERIAL
Made of 100 percent woven polyethylene, this black net offers heavy-duty protection. It will not even unravel when cut. Compared to economy nets, it is 400 percent stronger and heavier. Resistant to UV light, it can last 10 to 15 years for most uses.

Although the netting was easy to install and looked like it would work, whatever got into our pond, got in again, and the netting was useless.

We have several large trees the drop leaves in the fall and so I built a cover for our on deck Koi pond using the netting. The net cover saved me from having to scoop leaves out of the pond several times a day.

Easy to work with food gets through Do yourself a favor and use this for your pond rather than the 3/8 by 3/8 cheap thin cover material. Too much work for it not to last Thanks for the great product!
