It's a fine bottoming tap, and I've used it a couple of times to square up the threads on a hole I didn't drill deep enough to use a regular tap to get enough full threads.No complaints, but keep in mind that it IS a bottoming tap, you can't use it to thread a drilled hole, only to clean up the partial threads at the bottom of a hole you already used a regular tap on.
