The vent is reasonably close to the HD factory part available. However, the left and right tabs to bolt and secure the vent in position do not line up with the inner fairing threaded holes. Both side tabs had to be pried into position while inserting the bolt. Very difficult with only two hands. With the tab bolts tightened and the vent in position, the upper center bolt for mounting the fairing outer shell (the bolt goes through the vent) would not line up with the fairing threaded hole, and the bolt would not install. When I loosened the vent tab bolts, the vent bolt hole for the fairing shell would line up with its threaded hole. Tab bolts tightened and after prying and pulling on the vent I found the fairing bolt could be aligned, and elected to reinstall the fairing outer shell, saving the upper center bolt for the last bolt to install. With the outer shell installed loosely, and again some pulling on the vent the upper fairing bolt was successfully installed.Unfortunately, I had to learn how to install the vent, so the install took twice as long as it should have.Bottom line, the vent will install and block wind as intended.
