This saw is to replace a Greenlee hacksaw that I finally wore out after more than 40 years. Rugged tool but comfortable to use.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I hope this is some kind of defect in my saw only. Just received it from the purchasing guy at work and installed the blade. On the rear nub that the saw hooks onto, there is not quite enough room for the blade to sit flat. On the upper side part of the frame pushes the blade off line about a 16th of an inch. The blade will not sit flat and therefore will cut crooked. Strangest thing I ever saw. In the picture of the saw on this page, there is enough room for the blade to sit flat, but my saw does not have this room.

This saw frame keeps the blade in the correct orientation. Many saw frames allow the blade to twist. I have not had that problem with this saw frame.

I would recommend this hacksaw to anyone planning on purchasing a hacksaw. It is very sturdy, it cuts conduit pipe and EMT pipe with ease and all the cuts are straight.

Bought this hacksaw because the price was excellent. Use this saw all the time. Can also cut flush and a saws-all blade can be installed in the end. Also has storage for blades.

The package arrived at the time the man of the house was about to cut baseboard with an old piece of junk. It cuts like butter. The construction is much better than expected.Good, solid grip.Very well made.

Although this is a very good product and well made it didn't fully describe it's use.It didn't explain that it required a different type of blade for the end of the saw.You certainly can't go wrong on the price, especially for something that isn't madeoverseas.

I am an electrician and need more from a hacksaw than some.*I wanted blade storage but this one is cheaply made. There is a little black "snap" cover at the top of the handle. It's made of plastic and has a little spring to keep it open once it's snapped open. It opens easily by accident and although I haven't broke it yet it is pretty flimsy.*The tensioner also seems fairly flimsy. I carry this on my tool bag which is pretty heavy and gets tossed around in the bed of trucks, banged on in gang boxes, whatever. I could see the little "thumbscrew" breaking. I have seen other saws of this design that have broke but ordered this one in the hopes that it was beefier but it's not.*Lastly it's made in China, some Greenlee is made in USA but not this.
