Fish tape got hopelessly stuck at work so I had to cut it off. Ideal customer service didn't seem interested in helping me get the right replacement eyelet, so I took a chance with this one. Fish tape is 3/16" and this threaded on tight. Put a few drops of crazy glue down the threads first for extra hold and so far its working great.

You need to screw in the plastic and I don't know how long it will stay there. There was no instructions

If you are looking for a replacement to fit your Greenlee FTF540-50 this is the correct eye. For whatever reason, the Greenlee parts manual says that either the 35919 or 35930 will work as a replacement. The 35919 is too small. This 35930 is exactly like the original.
