Considering Greenlee seems to owns THE patient on an extension rod for your drill with a quick release chuck, it's a pretty handy tool. They've managed to price it as high as possible to barely make it worth the $$.... -Ripe for a competitor!!

Wonderful tool! It is stiff but slightly flexible when needed to be flexible. Great for drilling those odd corner turns in framing for electrical line runs in remodel jobs. Quick connect is great with a 1" auger bit. A+ overall.

Don't try to drill through anything more dense than tissue paper or use a bit larger than 1/8 in. This item is JUNK!!! If you try to use it as it is intended it snaps the shaft.

This extension is advertised as having a "flexible" shaft. While not completely untrue, it is a bit misleading. The shaft is actually quite rigid. If the task requires bending of more than about 5 degrees, this is not the tool for the job

This is the ONLY extension bit type I will use in my work (HVAC). I have one of each length, 18" & 36". I use an impact driver and an assortment of 1/4" hex bits, for which both ends of the extension tool are made.
