Just received the back pack blower unit, unfortunately was missing a hose clamp so I could not complete assembly. Batteries charge and unit powers up, but will have to find a replacement hose clamp before I can leave a updated review regarding the unit power and run time.For what I paid I'm happy to have the extra 2 8amp hour batteries. I have greenworks chainsaws (12 and 18inch), a mower, a weed trimmer, a lighter duty leaf blower and a snowblower. It is so nice to not have to mess with gas or oil, and they always start right up. With the 8ah batteries, the power will run out before I do.Update - clamp purchased ($3) and up and running. Ran it for about 45 minutes which took about a third of the battery charge. This thing works great! Its nice to not have to mess with gas oil mix and starter problems.

Light weight and powerful. Excellent performance and relatively quiet.Also has nice variable speed control.One weakness is the lithium battery and charger (40v 96wh) are NOT compatible with my older model Greenworks lawnmower which is also 40v lithium and the first battery was DOA (but quickly replaced by warranty.)But I am also still happy with my 8 year old GreenWorks mower!Would DEFINITELY purchase any GreenWorks product.

The Greenworks 40V Dual Port Cordless Backpack Leaf Blower delivers strong power and great airflow, making it effective for clearing leaves and debris. The 175 MPH and 710 CFM performance are impressive, and the dual-port design ensures you can keep going with a second battery.However, the battery life is disappointing. Even with moderate use, the charge doesn’t last as long as expected, requiring frequent recharges during larger tasks. Additionally, the unit is quite heavy, which can make it uncomfortable to use for extended periods.While it does the job well when powered, the weight and limited battery life are significant drawbacks. It’s a decent product, but these issues make it less practical for longer or more demanding jobs.

We've bought greenworks in the past and they've always made excellent quality tools so we decided this is the blower we should buy. I must say that I'm impressed with this blower, it's very simple to use and it has a lot of blowing and cleaning power behind it. The battery life lasted longer than the 18 minutes advertised and charged a lot quicker than 75 minutes mentioned in the battery manual. The only real downside is that its a little on the heavier side and it becomes uncomfortable if you're using it for a while. It's fairly cheap compared to other leafblowers but it's still high quality and has a lot of power. This tool is just another reason to continue buying greenworks products.

Very impressed with this new battery powered blower. Easy to operate and not too heavy. Not as strong as a gas powered one but performed very well. The battery life is ok and would rate it a 8 out of 10. Over all I am very pleased with my green works purchase. Hope this helps with your decision. I would buy again. Thanks MC
