I built a 1X6 pressure treated base on deck blocks with joists at 12” on center.Even at the lowest clutch setting on my cordless drill the screws still strip out. Very thin and cheap panels. Wait until you realize all painted sections have a very thin “protective” film on them that takes longer to remove than building the shed. Instructions were fairly straight forward. Could have done better with some illustrations to point out orientation. I realize it’s an economy shed but, I’m disappointed with the quality, thin material and screws not tightening/holding, issues with roof trim not lining up.Tips, leave the screws in each section loose until you ensure alignment is good. Don’t fasten the base frame to the floor until you have the roof panels installed and screws tightened, if it’s not perfectly square you’ll have roof alignment issues. Steer clear and build your own shed from wood, siding and shingles.

The shed arrived two different days. Be sure to have the delivery person leave it where it will stay as the packages were too heavy for me to move. I hired a guy who is experienced at assembling these things. He built a floor and we discovered that it isn’t really 8 by 6. That is the measurements at the roof. Didn’t really matter to me, but if you need eight feet this will only be seven feet seven inches. The instructions said about three hours but even with his experience it took closer to five or six. The directions were good. All the parts were there. I had am empty carport for construction so pieces would not get lost. There were a few pieces that had gotten dented and bent during shipping but those were able to be straightened out. I love the wide doors that swing and are on the long side. It looks nice and I was able to put all I wanted inside. I would recommend this shed even with the few problems. It looks great. Just be sure to have help.

If you are looking for a high quality metal shed for under $300 this is not the one! BUT if you want a 8x6 shed for under $300 that may or may not keep your stuff dry this could be the one.The good...- Directions were clear .- All parts were in the boxes- it went together pretty easily- when it was all done i had no extra parts- Its light enough that if you needed to remove it from one location to another it should be easy enough .The Bad....- This is flimsy, sharp material that has a plastic film on it that has to be removed. It can and will cut you if you do not wear gloves.- Wearing gloves makes it difficult to work with the small screws- As I said it went together pretty easily BUT there were times what you were screwing into did not line up.- I mentioned that it may or may not leak. Reason is although you use plastic washers, because the screws didnt always line it did leave small gaps in places. Also the door has a gap in the middle that will surely leak if you do not add a gasket of sort.So with all that said if you need something cheap to put your mower, shovels, amd other garden tools thats do not matter if they get wet this couls.be.the shed for you .

1. This was not worth the money, in fact we would not buy this for $52. This is not sturdy at all. Be aware if you try to build this on a remotely windy day.3. On that note, the pieces are SO flimsy it's not even funny. You even look at it wrong and it bends4. This was not easy to assemble. Mostly because the instructions are trash and the pieces don't all fit together. Pieces had to be cut and they were put exactly where the instructions said to put them. Have at minimum 2 people for this project AND an entire day5. The nails for this did NOT keep anything in place. Additional, longer nails of ours were required6. The structure sucks. We were aware there was no bottom and got a bottom for it but it still leans. Bottom had to be reinforced.7. The sizing is not at all how "big" it says it is. Your kidding yourself if you think you can get a work bench in there and a lawn mower with space to walk in8. There is this annoying plastic film on every piece that makes this thing look even worse than it already does9. It should be noted a ladder is required to put the roof on. But also be careful because if you fall or lose balance you will destroy the whole thing10. This will not keep our stuff safe or dry. Keep plenty of bandaids on hand too. The pieces are so unbelievably thin that you will cut yourself.Be aware, you get what you pay for. Someone just kicks the wall or blows hard enough and they've got whatever valuables you've put inside. We do not recommend this shed and we are bummed.
