Very heavy cast iron with non-stick coating. However, the one we received had two small chips in the coating on the cooking surface, so we ordered a replacement. The replacement was a different size (taller) and my grill lid would not close over it, and it also had two chips in the coating. We returned the replacement and just kept the original since we needed a grill bottom for cooking and it fit. Hopefully the coating chip won't allow rust.

This is a super nice replacement grill plate for your Ninja Woodfire grill. One side is slated like the OEM grill, the other side is a smooth, flat top grille. It is made out of heavy duty metal, just like the OEM plate. It is coated with a non-stick coating that works well, making cleaning a breeze.It fits like a factory piece. It heats very well and seems to be evenly heated with no hot or cold spots.Overall, I would highly recommend!

Unfortunately, it did not fit my OG951 grill. The dimensions in the product description are incorrect. be careful.

I bought this as a replacement it's a little smaller than the original plate but seems to be well made really heavy compared to the original worth it to have a extra plate

It sits a little higher, and just a smidge small, (but not enough to not make a huge difference). It still works for our Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Grill.The one that came with our Ninja protective coating is coming off after several uses and washes. So I went to the Ninja website,...they wanted $65 bucks!!! Just for that grill piece. Decided to look on Amazon for a quick fix, because we do use our Ninja all the time. Found this little off brand beauty. It is totally way more heavy duty,...I believe cast iron with ceramic overcoat. So much better than the one it came with. Not an exact fit, ...but it fits good enough to make the grill fully functional.Update,..it sits a little high ( or just flat, the tilt isn't in the pan like the other,..just the sides) and doesn't drain properly,..so we prop it up with lil foil balls to the front,. Seems to work so far. But am taking a star away for that
