Works great and is very easy to mount and use. Will fit most any size grill lid handle. I use it on my offset smoker for those early morning brisket starts when you need to get the smoker up and running before the sun comes up or perhaps a late afternoon burn in the winter when the sun goes down early. Works simply by pushing the button and once you have it turned on it turns itself off when you close the lid and back on when you open it. Two brightness levels. Charges using a provided charging cord usb-c or with the sun as it has a built in solar panel. Due to my smoker living under my carport and under a grill cover when not in use I don't get a lot of sun on the solar panel and moving around a 500 pound smoker in order to get it in the sun is not ideal so in my case I do need to charge this light using the usb-c port however it's really easy to do if you have a portable battery bank or electrical outlet close by.

Great idea for lighting up your grill. It actually worked better than I thought it would. Automatically turns on when you raise the grill lid and turns off when closed. The only downside is the plastic mounting strap is a little flimsy, but so far, it has worked fine for me.

My grilling area is quite dark, and I usually have to carry a flashlight with me when I'm grilling in the fall evenings. This has become a very nice tool to use when the sun goes down. I appreciate the fact that I don't have to plug it in, but if it does run out prematurely, I can recharge it via USB. When it's oriented correctly, closing the lid on the grill will also turn off the light, which is super handy since you don't have to fumble with anything in the dark. It's a very bright light that's meant to attach to the handle of your grill, making it really easy to see your entire work surface.

During the long days of summer I rarely need extra light when I am grilling dinner. However, in the Spring and Fall when the days are shorter I frequently need to grill in the dark.I had been using a miner's-type headlight but found this cumbersome because I blinded anyone near me. I also had to position my head perfectly to get the light on the grill.This grill light is a simple solution to those issues. Once installed, all you need to do is lift the grill cover and the light comes on. As you can see in my photo, it does a good job of illuminating the grill surface.If you are grilling in the daylight you can turn the grill light off to conserve battery power.I like the solar panel that will presumably keep the battery charged during the day so I won't have to keep replacing batteries. You can also charge it from a wall-wart charger (not included) with the. provided Type-C charging cord.The build quality seems to be sufficient for this type of device but I wouldn't consider it super heavy duty. Time will tell how long it lasts.Overall, I really like this grill light. If you grill in the dark, this light is a good choice.

Can not imagine. It is so useful. It get charge during the day time and work very effectively during the night. adjustable strip so can move it around. I do not have to use my mobile light anymore to find out the status of food. It focuses directly on grill and can see the food completely visible. Just lift the grill cover and the light comes on. Works great for very long time. So far never happened that battery is over before I finish grilling. Perfect, simple and smart solution.

Nice little solar light for barbecue and other outdoor activities. I use it on my bike too sometimes for higher visibility. The best thing about this light is it has USB C charging port. Waterproof for outdoor usage and it has a sensor which turns on when you open the lid and turns back off when you close the lid. It's a very nice gift for barbecue lovers and outdoor going people.

This solar light is perfect for my grill as I usually like to host parties at night and this solar light makes these nights grilling in the dark easier. It has an auto off mode so when you close the lid, it turns off. The light is also bright enough for me to see my food in the dark.
