These are really nice. Good qualityrigid wood and all the edges are clean cut. The colors are nice and vivid and no loose handles. Both boards came individually wrapped in plastic in the box which is nice. The outer box was in super rough shape and not giftable at all. But the product itself was fine. The only thing about these puzzles is that they are only held in by gravity. I really wish they has some small magnets to hold the pieces in to help keep from losing them. My 2yo is still a bit young for these but he is at least showing interest and tries to figure it out.Great quality and fair price. Would recommend.

The Grinnnie Toddler Puzzle Set is a fantastic educational toy designed to engage and entertain little ones aged 1-3 while fostering early learning skills. The set includes wooden alphabet and number peg puzzles, each with chunky, easy-to-grasp pieces that are perfect for small hands. The bright colors and smooth, rounded edges make these puzzles safe and visually appealing for toddlers, while the pegged pieces help develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and early letter/number recognition. Whether your child is just starting to explore shapes or beginning to identify ABCs and 123s, these puzzles grow with them, making them a great 1st birthday gift or preschool learning tool.Parents will appreciate the durable, high-quality wooden construction, which stands up to rough toddler handling better than cardboard or plastic alternatives. The puzzles are lightweight yet sturdy, and the non-toxic paint ensures safety during play. While the set is ideal for solo play, it also encourages parent-child interaction, making it a versatile toy for bonding and learning. The only minor drawback is that the pegs can be chewed on by teething toddlers, so supervision is recommended. Overall, this toddler puzzle offer excellent educational value, combining fun and skill-building in a timeless, well-crafted toy.

Nice and well made. Bright colors to engage a young person. It can be used to help a child learn his/her ABCs and numbers. The stylist is just a small wooden stick which concerns me. The puzzle boards are still completely usable without a stylist and a parent can easily find something to replace it with but they shouldn’t have to. There is no place on the learning boards to hold the stylist. With two boards, two stylists would prevent squabbles over sharing the one that is included. Other than the stylist I found the boards nicely colored with ways to increase challenges. The child can learn her/his ABCs and numbers with the aid of the colorful puzzles and as that is taught the letters can be used to teach small words and spelling.DOG, CAT, FISH, CAR, TRUCK, I LOVE YOU, and so forth. The different ways to use the boards adds value and helps a child advance their language skills.

I like this set because it’s made very nicely. It looks safe and smooth for little hands to play with it. It’s easy to hold by the little knobs on each number and letter. It’s colorful and brings interest in play learn activity. It does have little magnets that help to hold it in place ones you get it on the spot. I like that each letter and number show how to write these letters and numbers with puncture lines an arrows pointing to the way kids should draw. It’s very educational and perfect for beginners. My son is not yet 2 but he does show interest in it. Mostly because of its color and the way knobs are. It’s very attractive. I hope we get to explore pretend writing on it soon too. Functions just as it’s meant to, worth buying!

My 2 year old loves playing with this puzzle set. Our initial worries about the back of these two boards causing splinters were put to rest after lots of rubbing(for some reason the backs of these puzzle boards arent as smooth as the fronts). Other than that, the woodworking was high quality coupled with a robust paint job on each letter and number that made them pop out of the board. This does a very good job of engaging your child while keeping them entertained at the same time. This is something my wife and I appreciate as not all toys, much less puzzles for that matter, can fill this double roll.

For $15.99, this set of 2 educational puzzles is a good value. While these aren’t ultra-durable, they don’t feel cheap. The puzzles are eye-catching and I like that the number puzzle spells the number out underneath, as well. The size of the pieces are great for my 17 month old’s little hands, and the pegs not only help him pick up the piece, but help with his fine motor skills. When he gets older, I like that he’ll be able to understand the lines underneath each piece – it teaches you how to write each letter/number, with lines and arrows. He’s not quite there yet, lol, but it’s nice to be able to reference. The one thing I don’t love is the zero. I wish it were 1-10 instead, vs the zero in front. My son keeps saying “O” and pointing to it, thinking it’s the letter. Zero is sort of an advanced concept for toddlers, he’s used to counting to 10, starting at 1. Other than that, this is a cute set and would look nice in a playroom or nursery.

This is a winner. The numbers and letters are clear cut, smooth and easy to handle. The frame is color coded to help the child match the piece with the position. My 20 month old grandson loves to pull this out and remove all the pieces. We're still working on getting them back in in the correct orientation. He can find the spot for each piece, but is still learning to turn them to fit correctly. It's a fun way for us to work/play together to teach him his numbers and letters.I really only have one worry/complaint and that is the pieces are so easy to lose, and this does NOT come with a good storage box to keep them in. I'm still giving this 5 stars, but really it's only 4.5 stars without a storage box.

Meh, ok. I like the shapes and colors, but the wood is a bit thin. They’ll do, but I think better models are available. Old school is hard to find.
