I'm a framing contractor and the cus is great with one strip but if you put more than 1 the nails get caught in the magazine and it won't shoot I would never buy it again but if your ok only loading one strip it works good

Worked great, although I haven't used it a lot, but there were no malfunctions

I am a framing contractor and have used a variety of different nailers over the years; this Grip Rite is a decent nailer but not built for everyday use. It does not always fully sink nails into engineered materials and has a noticeable amount of recoil when bump-firing. After about 7 months of hard, everyday use, the bracket attaching the magazine to the handle cleanly snapped so now the magazine is fairly loose, but still useable. I have also lost all but one bolt from the head cap as they all kept loosening. The plastic guard near the nose also broke off during it's first week. One very good feature that it has that many don't, is the rafter hook will fit over a 2x3 flange on an engineered floor joist. The nailer is also quite light, and the hand grip last longer than those on the Bostitch guns. Good nailer for maybe a renovator or somebody that doesn't use it everyday.
