Unlike the other kinesiology tape (name brand), this tape falls off the fingers within 30 minutes. The other name brand tape stays on for 2+ hours. Really no difference in price, I'll just go back to the name brand stuff.

Compared to the Turbo Red tape roll this is much thinner. The Turbo Red is stretchy, this black color has no stretch at all. I like having both the Red and Black on hand. If my thumb is swollen then this is my go to, if not then the Red. Both are great and I think having both on hand is optimal. No problems with it staying on for a 3 game series, and should last much longer than that. This stuff is wicked fast, so if you want your thumb out as fast as possible this is great tape.

I've been using this stuff for YEARS to help my thumb from "sticking" in the hole at release. For bowlers (like me) who need "extra slickness" in their release, this is for you! The material proper is VERY THIN so your thumb fit (size) won't be "compromised". The adhesive is VERY STICKY (be aware: if the tape "rolls back" on the thumb, the adhesive WILL get onto the thumb hole walls and it's VERY DIFFICULT to remove!), the nylon material is VERY "SLICK" (i.e., your thumb WILL release VERY QUICKLY), and it's a good "vapor barrier" between the skin and hole (if you're a "sweater" like me!).The tape is EASILY TRIMMABLE to length/width (make sure your scissors are ** SHARP **!), is suitable for use on thumbs of all "sizes" and "diameters", and the fabric does not appear to have any "nap" or "grain" so it can be oriented just about any way on the thumb for best comfort, etc.WARNING: the tape fabric DOES NOT "STRETCH" like the fabrics on other thumb/finger tapes! like other fabric tapes, you CAN NOT reuse the tape after removal!BOWLER TIP: I use bowling "skin protector" fluid to "glue down" the tape edges to my skin to prevent the aforementioned "rolling back". It doesn't affect the tape's properties - it's just provides a little "security feeling" while I bowl.Summary: if your thumb needs "maximum slickness" for release, this is the stuff for you!
