In my package, I got 4 tips, 3 extra fine chisel shaped tips + a bigger round one. There are instructions on the marker and also on the back of the package that say to try it first on an inconspicuous place to see if its color is acceptable to you. Maybe I was lucky, but the beige color of this grout paint actually matched my original 25 yr-old grout. As the old saying goes, if everything else fails, follow the directions. The most important one for me was to wash and dry the grout before you use the paint pen. Also, as it dries quickly, be sure to have a damp cloth handy to wipe up any excess paint. Now I’m wondering what to do if a tip dries up… can I revive it with warm water? There is a Groutastic customer service email addr on the package, and I’m sure they’ll know.

I used this to upgrade the appearance of old grout on my ceramic tiled bathroom floor. The marker comes with a tip already on it, plus three additional tips. You definitely want to make sure to take the original tip out and put in one of the other ones. I didn't do that at first. I just started using it and had a rough time. The color was going everywhere but on the grout. It looked awful! Then I thought to see if I would get better results by changing the tip and the difference was crazy to me. It looked so so so much better once I used one of those angled tips. I've used plenty of paint markers and I'm still not exactly sure why changing the tips out on this marker made such a difference. With one marker I was able to do a 6 foot by 5 foot area of my floor. I wasted a little bit of it at first before I changed tips so you might be able to get a couple more feet than that. For the spots that did end up on the tile I wiped up with toilet paper easily. There's no smell to the marker either.I highly recommend.

I ordered this “white” as described plainly in the product page, and got a “beige” pen. I used it in an inconspicuous spot and it’s definitely beige as it says right on the pen.The pen must be shaken for the paint to come out. If you have beige grout, this might work fine. I do not and I also thought I would be getting white as it clearly stated in product qualifier.

I can't say that painting grout is the best long-term solution for cleaning up grout, but this is certainly a lot easier than removing the old grout and replacing it. This is a quick solution to the problem. The key in getting it to work well is in the angle and how far you press the tip in. It may take a little while to get the proper angle and pressure so that the paint doesn't flow out too fast and cause runs. I have also used it as touch up paint for some wall surfaces where the color was lucky enough to match. In those cases, it worked well too. It does dry fast, which helps with the coverage if you need to go over it a second time, but the paint seems to have enough pigmentation to do most surfaces in one coat.

Lots of paint flows evenly and controlled by tip pressure through the tip as expected. As soon as I opened the pkg the installed tip was clear and dry of any paint. Good sign. 3 tip presses later and ice got it primed and have great flow. Made a perfect circle on the cardboard with out any clear arrier bleeding outside the colored paint. I was pleasantly surprised that it also comes with 3 extra tips for the marker. If it was listed in the details of the original listing I missed it so I'll take it as a bonus that will help sustain the durability and functionality of the pen for as long as the paint lasts. Sometimes with time the tip may dry out and clog so you cant access the whole volume of paint. I'm planning to use this as a welding marker on bare steel. OOC I'm aware but paint markers last better than soapstone imo. Great value!

Works pretty well, however I figured out that my grout isn't quite this color; more of a cream, the beige is a tad darker. Make sure you color match as best you can; sight-unseen it's difficult, but once you have the package you can hold it up to your grout and get a pretty good idea of whether it's a match. Maybe buy multiple colors and send the mismatched ones back.

I am reviewing: Grout Pen Beige Tile Paint Pen & Marker: Waterproof Grout Paint, Tile Grout Colorant and Sealer Pen. Restorer for Bathroom, Shower, and Kitchen with Three Tips 2-3mm, Quick-DryingI have not used any of the extra tips yet, but the one that comes installed is easy to use. Just press a few times to release the paint. Once it's coming out, it flows evenly with the right speed. Extra pumps are needed if you move the tip too quickly. The paint is thin. You'll have to go over it again if you are covering a darker area. The beige color is a bit more yellowish than I expected, but for me, it's better than the color I'm covering. It does dry quickly, so if you go out of the lines, either wipe it quickly with a damp towel, or you can use a scraper after it dries on some surfaces. Seems like the mistakes dry much more quickly than the main area to be covered. It isn't a lot of paint, and I'm hoping that it saves, because I'm not ready to use it all yet. Will update if I have more to report. It is easy to use and looks like paint. You can be as messy or as neat as you would with any paint.
