Bought it to escape endless application of water repellant and washing off fishing gunk. The coated nylon seems the way to go. Also “breathable” fabric can get cold when cold winds blow. I would like to block the wind on cold days.I was concerned it would feel clammy. Tried it once and in no way felt clammy.Size seems just a little large. Im ok with it because I need room to layer. And on warmer days its nice to have the extra space.Seems I don’t need or want gotetex. If it’s hot and rainy I’ll just enjoy the water while on my yak and my clothes will dry out.

I bought a small for myself as a women even though its a men's and it fits great! I get all sorts of compliments on the color and it keeps me very dry! It's not too heavy where you feel like it is bogging you down but just thick enough that water doesn't leak through.

Runs slightly bigger than expected. Material is thin yet durable. Definitely a sport fishing coat or casual rainy day coat. I bought XL, I’m 6’1, 210lbs and it is a tad baggy without a hoodie underneath but with layered up under this feels about perfect to move around and stretch yet have warm layers.
