Drop-in replacement for the earlier unit. Much more accurate cuts. Can operate the machine faster also. Nice upgrade!

It's so weak. All I use is hardwoods. This isn't built for any hardwoods. Softwoods like pine it does alright.Feed rate has to be extremely slow no matter what. It takes forever to get anything significant done. You will be disappointed! And just like all the other reviews, it is extremely loud. After purchasing the sainsmart 3018 prover I have regretted it. I've upgraded everything on it and it's still disappointing. I just need something bigger and better and more powerful. X-Carve onefinity something like that... After all the upgrades done on my 3018 prover I could save up a few hundred dollars more and just buy something I really want. Be warned. Don't buy, the stock that comes with it does about the same cutting.
