Whistle Training
Remember: without proper training, a whistle is just another sound in the world for your dog. You must pair the whistle with verbal commands, and do not overuse. If you use the whistle too frequently, your dog will become desensitized to the sound and the training tool will become ineffective. Make sure to research dog whistle training before you begin.

This is a partial plastic and sheet metal whistle that has little ability to change the tone or inflection of the whistle. It is basically a blow piece that emits virtually nothing out of it (that includes ultrasonic audibles). Don’t waste your time.

I cann't say if she does'nt hear it not as she is an old dog who only wants to foget the tricks she has learned already. There is a reason you cant teach an old dog new tricks. they are old, defient, and crotchety.

If you get this and are confused at first like I was, blow harder. My dogs were both confused by it till I handed it to my partner, who gave a stronger blow. Immediate high, loud whistle and reaction from both.This is definitely NOT the type humans can’t hear, but it’s already working great after three attempts at recall. Sure to be a major help when we go to the dog park as it’s enough space that my recall command isn’t loud enough.

I bought this for my puppy, because she was in training. I tried to use this whistle all day with her and she wasn't listening to it which I found irritating, but just assumed it was my dog being a dog. My bf went to go use it and said the reason why my dog wasn't listening to it is because it wasn't working. I was either sent a faulty product or it was just straight broken lol. It looks like a whistle but it's made with maybe the cheapest materials I've ever seen. And for that matter it dosnt even work! I wasted like $10 for nothing. Just annoying.

This “dog whistle” is not silent, a person can hear it just like a normal whistle no matter how you adjust it.It also doesn’t work at all, doesn’t help train dogs or get them to stop barking. Only 8 bucks but I might as well have just thrown $8 in the trash.

I haven't spent much time training my dogs, so occasionally they ignore the whistle, but mostly they still hear it and it will draw their attention and then they come back to the house. I can see how this would be an effective tool if used with proper training.
