Since boot failure is the main cause of CV axle failure, our CV Axle Assemblies use only premium grade neoprene boots that ensure robust abrasion and extreme temperature resistance, preserving boot integrity. This means the the grease stays where it belongs - at the joint - which prevents premature wear and component failure. All of our CV Axle Assemblies are factory lubricated with a specially formulated, high-temperature Moly grease that resists friction and wear, contributing to a lifetime of smooth, dependable performance. Axle replaced an original with no installation issues. New axle came with the pin for the inner portion (pin was loose in the box).

So, I ordered one of these for my 2003 Subaru Outback and after installation, I noticed a clunking while driving. Upon inspection, I found there to be serious play in the axle so I returned the part since it had been less than 30 days. They were quick to send me a replacement which was promptly installed. It's been about a month and a half now and let me just say that for all the hassle I've gone thru, I wish I never would have bought this item. I have since, had to replace my bearing on that side, as well as my tie rods due to the excessive play in the axle. I'm SERIOUSLY disappointed and will NOT recommend this product to ANY of my fellow Subie owners.

Shipped fast and install easy with new axle nut and new roll pin. Fitment was perfect and had no issues.

Axle fit great exactly like oem. Other reviews said did not come with a new rolling mine did ,the pin was just floating in the box. Axle is quiet time will tell on durability. For $50 you can't lose.

This CV Axle was identical to the factory one it replaced. Of course I couldn't compare the rollers, but everything else was the same. It DOES NOT come with a replacement axle nut. the one you remove should not be reused as it is deformed when installing and removing. It also DOES NOT come with a replacement roll pin which is needed to hold the end onto the spline. You can use the old pin, but this is not recommended.
