There's a little learning curve in handling this tape as it is extremely sticky. However, it is a must when waterproofing and flashing a deck ledger.

Sticky. Adheres well. Get the version without the backing paper. The backing paper is a hassle but other than that, it's superior as a joist tape to every other tape on the market.

This is heavy-duty flashing and requires a bit of forethought before applying, but it does the job well. The only criticism, which is a small one, is that the edges look a little frayed when on the spool due to the product design.When applying it, make sure you have at least two people working on the task to keep the tension on the flashing. Ensure you get it smooth when you apply it, as this product is sticky, and while you can take it off and move it, it will peel off anything loose with it when you peel it up.

The 6 in is great over the Typical 1 5/8 in butyl product. Sticks to the boards and not to you.

The tape stuck to the wood well. But doesn’t seem to seal around the screws. Time will tell.

Until you actually use this, you won’t know what I mean. But this stuff is 1,000 times better then the $10 cheap tar roll from the box stores… so easy to install and super great quality. Made by Mitsubishi.
