It will work... it fits the spot, but it's wobbly. The screws are longer and the plate it thin. I had to put some rubber band around for now

Got this for my 2020 kawasaki Z650 ...the lock itself is decent ,my problem was the fit / look. The mounting plate is completely flat and being where it is (the most aggressive part of the tail tapper) it sticks out a good bit, (enough for passenger to catch foot on) looks tacky, cheap & out of place. Takes away from the clean streamline look of the bike . A simple 90° in plate, backing it up under the tail would make a world of diff. Will be sending back and finding an alternative.

The design was great. But as soon as I put the key in and locked it as I pulled the key out the lock mechanism literally came out of the base. I don’t know if I just got unlucky and happened to get one that wasn’t actually ready to go but it was immediately returned and haven’t decided if I’ll give it another chance.

Great lock for $20. It’s a little bit flimsy but for $20 I don’t care. Works great. Very easy to install. Would not trust a $1000 helmet on it but works fine for my $300 helmet.

I like the look and the practically it provides to my bike. The paint isn’t exactly full red as anticipated and also advertised. I just wished it was shipped faster and came with screws to assemble it.

Very easy install on my Z650. I was tired of bringing my helmet with me everywhere and there was no way in hell I’d be leaving an $800 helmet hanging on my bars unattended. I only leave my helmet locked to this lock when I’m gone for short periods of time as it is not 100% theft proof. Giving it 5 stars for ease of install and convenience.
