The 100g weight flew off the racquet on my very 1st hit. One of the pieces hit the back fence on the adjacent court. Lucky no one was playing there or it could have caused a serious injury. I had gotten good attachment with the screws through 19g strings, and had been able to screw the weight very tight.

You can definitely feel the difference when you add this weight to your racket. This will help with returning heavy balls and help you put more power into your swing. I would just use this to warm up as apposed to the whole match. This is good to see if you can play with a heavier racket as well without having to demo a different racket. This certainly has a spot in my bag going forward.

So I ordered this to put on my spare/backup racquet. I am currently using it similar to how baseball batters use weights while warming up in the batter box. So before a match I warm up my swing with this on my backup then if I actually need to use my backup racquet I remove it otherwise I just leave it on it for warmups before each match. So far I'm really liking to use it this way.The weight itself adds a decent amount to your racquet that you can feel. It easily installs and removes in seconds just screwing together. It also seems to be well made and doesn't feel cheap or like it would break if you accidentally drop it. So far I definitely would recommend you try this.

The post is too short to catch a thread so this can't be affixed to the racket. Good idea, bad execution.
