Just like all the other Guild guitars it's awesome straight out of the box and sounds amazing. I read all of yamaha acoustic guitars how the strings are too high and they have to send it to someone to have it setup but not with Guild all my guitars were great straight out the box no setup needed very pleased with the purchase
