I have advanced osteoarthritis throughout my spine. My lower back and R-leg at times will elevate to a point that I'm totally immobile. After formal PT, I learned that a home exercise program delivers great benefits. One of the trick I learned at PT, was the stretching out of my leg muscles. Much better than drugs.

My physical therapist recommended i get one of these for stretching. Why they are non stretch bands that allow you to hold in place. I have been very satisfied with the quality and I went with the 2 pack because I believed either it would help my father or it would work as a back up but this way I would know which was I was using. Was a little concerned on the quality for the price but it more than exceeds expecations.

I got this for a yoga mat carry strap but it didn't really fit well. I started out with a cheap mat and it was so thin that it did fit if I rolled it up tightly but the new one I got is better quality and these didn't fit at all. I do think for workout purposes it would be a good item and nice quality. It's a durable nylon strap with multiple loops so it would work for various poses and people of all different heights and builds. At the time of purchase, it was advertised as both a yoga mat carrying strap and workout aid. For the mat strap I would not recommend but for the workout purpose, I would say it will be great.

These are super helpful for physical therapy stretches! So what you get are two bands for helping you to stretch, one in a pretty lavender color, and one in black. (Just for reference, these are not latex/flexible like “therabands”, but rather are constructed with net webbing, similar to what is used in backpack straps.)There are reinforced loops at differing equal-spaced intervals so you can either hold or place a foot in the loop. The loops help guide you with hand placement/foot placement, and gives you in a more controlled stretch, meaning less error with positioning, perfect for beginners and expert exercisers alike. (There are some exercises that depend on using bands that are rigid, so that’s when you would get bands like these.) They are well-reinforced, loops at regular ”makes sense” intervals, and are super easy to grip. Bands like these can also be important especially with individuals who have challenges holding “stretchy therabands”, since these have defined loops that help you grasp them easier. Exercises and stretches can be modified based on where you hold the loop, allowing you to change up the stretch you get. These can also be a great alternative for those who have allergies to the latex stretchy-type bands, too and last a lot longer, since these are made out of polypropylene, making them durable for tons of future exercise sessions. The material itself is also easy to grip, since it has a little texture to it.I got these to help me with stretching exercises for my legs and arms, and back, to practice at home physical therapy exercises I get assigned weekly. These bands are a nice size to use and store—and since they fold up so easily, they are ideal for your next yoga or pilates class!

Yoga beginners can use a strap to maintain proper form even if they can't stretch as far as their instructor or their more flexible classmates. More experienced practitioners, meanwhile, can use a strap to deepen their stretches or do advanced poses. In either case, this is a good strap to use because it doesn't stretch. Each of the 10 loops is securely sewn and reinforced, so you can be confident that it will hold as you place increasing pressure on it. You stretch; the strap doesn't. You may or may not find this strap handy for carrying your yoga mat, depending on the mat's thickness and whatever accessories (towel, blocks) you keep with it, but that’s not really its primary function. The straps come without instructions, but if you're not already familiar with using a strap for yoga, it's easy to find YouTube videos to show you how. Don't stress over which loop to use for any particular pose. You don't have to use the loops at all if you'd rather not. But with practice, you can determine which loops work best for different positions, and use them to take your stretch even deeper. The loops also are a handy guide to ensure you're keeping your body symmetrical as you move through your routine. Because the strap doesn't stretch, be careful to store it and other exercise equipment out of reach of small children or pets, just to be on the safe side.
