I love these for head stocks that tunning is both sides or EVH style locking nut. I use the smaller type for anything else as for these you would have to force strings apart to install. Pictures show on a Gretsch, then the smaller type with this type, back and side view last is the smaller type on a Fender.

I have a different brand of these pick holders on 4 of my guitars. Have had them for years! I would have hoped in that amount of time they would have improved them, but these are a step backwards. I use very thin picks and these holders don’t hold them very well, if at all. Probably OK for something 0.5mm or thicker. The bigger issue is I can’t install them! I only play 12 strings and the design of these, with a wide base, will not fit between strings as it should. Again probably OK for 6 strings. Really disappointed they don’t fit my need.
