Soldering wires to this potentiometer renders it useless. It should be able to withstand Soldering.

These pots drop right into position in my bass. What can I say? Perfect match! They brought back that vintage sound that was slowly dying. Highly recommended.

Not only can't they take the heat required to solder them without getting the internals,but the shafts are way to short . That's my fault as I should of looked at the description better, but I hooked one up with clips before trying to solder it, sound was great,no buzzing so all the connections were correct and tight,but the pot didn't turn the volume down, it did nothing when turning it.
