I'm not a fan of straight headstocks because I hate string trees. I always replace the Fender-style trees with something more effective and less obtrusive like these. Note that unlike some some, there are not actually "rollers," but it doesn't really matter because these have a very smooth, polished finish and a perfectly round shape allowing the string to move without friction while providing sufficient downforce over the nut. I also like these because unlike some "roller" style trees, they do not require two holes in the headstock. The odd thing is that the two spacers are different heights, with one being about twice as tall as the other. On the guitars I have (and have seen), the string trees are typically the same height. Now one is almost always farther forward than the other, so a slight height difference might be called for, but this seems excessive. On some guitars I don't use the second tree at all, and that's typically fine.

These are great for a guitar that needs two heights of string trees. The quality is good.

EXACTLY like the Gotoh branded ones that Sweetwater sells, which are $6 for chrome, when they're instock(they sellout fast asf)... Don't overpay if you don't have to 👍
