This has everything you need to clean smaller caliber rifles and hand guns. As noted in other reviews, the stainless picks could damage your barrel, so you have to be extra careful, and some of the shafts don't want to stay locked in place, but for this price, you shouldn't expect perfection. This is a great starter kit to help with routine maintenance. My review process: 5*- Blew me away, features that are much better than anticipated (rare). 4*- Product is as expected, and good quality. This is a STRONG review. 3* - Product should function, but has minor flaws. (Average product) 2*- Product may work, but won't last long/cheaply made/major flaws/issues, item failure w/ some remediation from seller. 1* - Poor item/failure during use, or before, no remediation from seller.

This is a very complete set. It has nearly everything you need for nearly all calibers, very versatile. At $40, it is a very decent price for what all you get. I am very happy with this set and would definitely recommend it.

The kit contains all the tools you need to keep your guns in perfect clean condition no matter what caliber or barrel length. I was particularly impressed with the selection of brass rods (not steel) and brass brushes. The softer metal will protect from any accidental damage to the barrel. My only criticism is that the pick is stainless steel which could scratch; this also should be brass (and I would recommend immediately replacing it with a set of brass picks). It even includes a boresnake but only for small caliber (.223, .22); would be nice if it included one for standard hunting rifles. It even includes spear pointed jags designed for poking through the center of a patch and wrapping it around the tip. I find these clean better than a patch through a loop but do require using the appropriate size. And, it all comes in a nice case, however, some of the rods fall out of their clip in spot.

This set has all the necessities you need to maintain your kit. The rods are brass and the included bronze brushes thread easily on to the end. They include a stainless and nylon brush as well as appropriately sized cotton bore mops and patch jig attachments The hardcase keeps it all neat and organized and is slim enough to fit easily in my gun cabinet on its side without taking up too much space.

This is a great universal gun cleaning kit that has everything you need for almost all calibers. It comes with everything you need as far as hardware. The brushes and tips are great quality and will clean your weapon numerous times before they need to be replaced. This set has been around a long time and has shown its reliability and performance and quality. These are well engineered and well designed to fit the most common calibers and will serve you well. Five stars given.

I like this as a complete cleaning kit. It comes with all sorts of bore brushes and mops. The cleaning rods are brass, which pose no risk to your barrels, and they have good weight. It comes with nice needler oil bottles. The brushes are the same as what's available at a local place, so I know I can get replacement brushes that fit, although I prefer the two-sided all-purpose brushes. I like the green case, it's not quite OD green, but it tries, and it's better than being black, because it would look like a tool case if it was black. The inside has a nice map labeling what parts go where too.The thing I found annoying with this is just the T-handle rods on top don't snap into place. All the smaller rods do. It's probably just a manufacture defect with the blow molded case, but the problem is, each part has to go in its place, otherwise the case won't close. When the t-handle falls down when you close it, then the case won't close, so you have to move it around until it lines up in its place. Super annoying.
