My husband put these up in his walk-in closet. He agrees with the review headline above - that they are a low-cost way to hang & display pistols. You can use it to store all your guns, or it's a way to keep a gun handy in a closet or on a shelf for personal protection. Also, if you have a place where you just want to display your collection, you get enough in one order that it works for that purpose too. Works well mounted to another shelf whether wooden or fiber-board if it's the right width to hold it sturdily. And finally, he liked that the padding on the mounting racks keeps the barrel safe so it doesn't wiggle or hang loose. So if you don't want or have the cash to invest in a costly gun safe, this will keep your pistols and handguns where you can keep track of them but where they are easily accessible to you too. No fumbling with locks, etc. He was very happy and gives them an "A" rating.

Quality control is a bit off, with one hanger not being equal to all the others that work fine. With some strong manual adjustment bending, I got that one close to the others and made it usable as well.I've had pistols hanging in these for several weeks now and everything is fine. For the money, this is a great space saver.

I love having these for extra arms to be managed beneath my upper safe shelf. This allows for good hanging. The ends are coated well and the metal is rigid enough to not bend to the weight. Nice set of pistol hangers.
