The buttstock (Mesa Tactical Berreta 1301) on my 12 gauge did not fit into this holder completely, however, it fits my wife's 20 gauge perfectly. I guess I am trying to say, your mileage may vary. Also, It's not super beefy plastic. Fine for inside next to our bed, but I don't know how long it would survive for sustained outside use in UV light. Plastics tend to get dried out and brittle in UV unless they are thick. The plastic here is not too thick.

Used on golf cart floor. Made the vertical mount. These are the only floor mounts I’ve found.
