About this item

  • Rubber
  • SIZE - Junior. Suitable for children, boys & girls aged 12 and below. Perfect as a kids first introduction to cricket. Circumference: 8.06 Inch to 8.69 Inch / 20.5 cm to 22 cm. Only weighs 70 g
  • WHAT'S IT FOR? - The All-Weather & Fun ball is a durable all-weather rubber cricket ball for use in all conditions. 6 mounded seam stitch lines mimic that of a traditional cricket ball. (Similar to the GM Trounce ball for senior players)
  • CORRECT TECHNIQUE - With practice comes better play. Ideal for confidence building by developing correct techniques and skills during cricket practice for both bowling and batting
  • THE IDEAL KIDS CRICKET BALL - This ball is much softer than a traditional cricket ball and is quite squishy in comparison. This ball can also be found in the GM range of junior cricket sets & stumps. Perfect for young and younger players

Designed as a training aid this skills ball is an ideal piece of kit for developing technique and confidence for batsmen and bowlers. Delivering the same amount of weight and bounce as a leather cricket ball but without the hardness, the skills ball has a PVC outer with specially formulated core and durable stitched seam.

Bought for my dog as it’s bright enough to find and soft for her mouth . Not suitable if your dog likes to chew

Not much you can say about this other than it is a very good "incrediball" type ball. It feels heavy compared to a regular junior cricket ball but I weighed it and it comes in at 4.75oz, ie spot on.The ball feels like it will last so no worries about hitting it and it splitting. Beware that it is still fairly hard so if you are intending to use this against relative novices you will be better starting off with a wind ball and moving up to this. The advantage this has is that it is softer so easier on the hands but it still hurts.Overall a great product for junior cricket drills, recommended.
