catch basin drainage

Very easy to install for your downspout. The square catch basin drain is just what you need to collect and direct rainwater to pipe. To prevent damage to your property. It can be widely used for flood-prone areas such as lawns, patios, landscaped areas and walkways. As a drainage system, the catch basin collects and directs waster to the pipe which carry it to a discharge point downstream.

This is an about foot square by 4 inch deep catch basin meant for drainage of downspouts. This has a 3" drain line attached that is about 6 feet long. The drain line could be longer, but it is easy to add an extension. The basin is thicker plastic that should support a person's weight, lawn mower, etc. The lid is removable for easy clean out. The grate seems somewhat fragile, however. You may want to stuff this with rocks to support the grate. Overall this seems like a decent value; it works as expected.

I purchased the Gutter Downspout Catch Basin Drain Kit (12" x 12", 2.6" ID flexible pipe, 6.6 ft length) to redirect my downspout water to a sump pump area, and it has worked well. The installation was easy, the basin is sturdy, and the grate effectively keeps out debris. The flexible pipe reaches my sump pump area perfectly and can handle heavy rain without any issues. The larger pipe moves water quickly,

I got this to help with a gutter spout that overwhelms the gutter splash guard so the ground is worn away in front of the guard. This will catch the water and direct it away. The catch is a good size and the extension can be made at least twice as long as my picture. The only complaint I have is that I struggled to connect the extension to the square part. It screws on, but it took a lot if manipulation and several tries to get it to connect. However once I got it connected it seemed sturdy.

We had 2 days of awful storms come through a few days after I installed this product and I have to say, I am pleased with how well this worked. I have issues with my mulch washing out under the downspout when we get heavy rain. This item helped divert that water and stopped the mulch from washing out into my back yard. I would recommend this item!!

Down-spout catch-basin made of hard plastic with a flexible hose. We had bricks under the spout before but it wasn't working well, the water was still pooling around the house, now with the new catch basin, it's being directed to a more sloped part of the flower bed so that it drains away from the house and toward plants instead. Much better.Assembly was straightforward, connect the hose to the basin and orient it as needed. You can set it on the ground or dig it into the ground. I plan to dig a deeper hole for it as soon as I have time so it won't shift if raccoons come prowling around rearranging things.

This downspout catch is great for any spots where the downspouts have created a low point that pools water. It is larger than we thought, and we didn't have any trouble installing it. It works to move the water out of the low spot, and is nice and heavy duty so I expect it will last a long time.

I live in an area that gets the 2nd most rain in our state, so this Gutter Downspout Catch Basin is a much needed improvement to the current downspout extension (with a splash pad) which did not keep the rain water from draining back to my foundation. I directed the drain tube into a nearby flower bed so not only does it now keep the water away from the foundation but it also waters that flowerbed, win/win. The basin is 1' square x 4.25" deep. It got a good workout the night before with heavy rains. I am very pleased with the result. It is easy to connect the pipe to the basin (which rotates on but I do suggest you do so with just about a 4" expansion on the pipe rather than extend it all the way out so you have more control over affixing it to the basin. It is well made so it should last for quite some time. The price point is inexpensive for the quality of the item. Now I need another one for another downspout.

Solid construction and unobtrusive looks- exactly what I need to direct water away from the house. Simple, but useful product.
