The ad makes it seem like all 6 are able to be bent to a 90 degree angle. It is only 2 of them that are precut and able to be bent. I needed all 6 to be able to be bent. I had the tools to modify them and make them work, but the ad she say only 2 of the 6 are precut.

I take pride in maintaining my home and always look for products that can make my life easier. Enter the CAPHONT Gutter Valley Splash Guards. Let me start by saying these guards are built to last. Crafted from durable aluminum, they feel solid and robust, promising to withstand whatever nature throws their way.Installation was relatively straightforward, thanks to the clear instructions provided. However, I encountered a slight issue with the sizing. The dimensions listed didn't perfectly match my downspout, requiring extra effort to fit them properly. It wasn't a deal-killer by any means, but it added frustration to an otherwise smooth process.Once installed, though, these guards proved their worth. They efficiently divert water away from the foundation, preventing any potential damage. I've noticed a significant reduction in pooling around the base of my home, which gives me peace of mind, especially during heavy rainstorms.Another aspect I appreciate is the sleek design. Unlike some other guards on the market that can be bulky and unsightly, these blend seamlessly with my gutter system, maintaining the aesthetic appeal of my home's exterior.TLDR; despite the minor hiccup during installation, I'm pleased with the performance of the splash guards. They deliver on their promise of protecting my home from water damage, all while maintaining a clean and polished look. If you're in the market for gutter guards that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing, these are definitely worth considering.

Well, they work. They’re thicker than many of the others out there. They helped immensely with water spilling over the gutters. However, I bought the 10 pack, and the pic it shows two of them bent at a 90° angle. I didn’t read the description closely and it turns out 8 of the 10 are not bent. They’re flat shields. I was expecting them to be 90° for all the corners on my roof.I used tin snips to cut out a little notch so they’d bend. When I did this, the black paint started cracking flaking off anytime I bent them.Granted they are working. No water is getting into my home now.But with the cracked paint, I just hope they don’t start rusting or peeling really badly in a year…

I have one spot of my gutters that is always over flowing. I've tried adding additional support to keep the gutter upright, but I kept getting that overflow. I installed this piece, and it actually worked! I'm waiting for the bigger rains to come to see how well it works, but so far so good!

The rain deflectors you can buy at the big box stores are garbage - too short, way too thin, and bend like a sheet of paper. These are MUCH stronger, built to withstand a downpour. Yes, they are expensive, but you get what you pay for and you'll never have to worry about them again. If I had to list one complaint, it would be that the screws they included seemed too long, but not that big of a deal.

Since its winter it will be some time before I can actually install these. But the installation is simple. They mount on top of the gutter. When water runs down my roof it runs over the gutter and splashes onto the side of the house. Mounting these on the top of the gutter and will catch the splashing. The product page describes how they work. I can see they are well made out of aluminum and have holes for the screws for mounting. They should do the job well. I believe I can also use them as diverters on the roof to keep the water off the siding. They even give you a pair of gloves!

I use these for clients that have bad water runoff in the roof valleys. They are a good price and good sized. They are easy to install. I recommend considering a bead of silicone on the bottom of the guard, and half inch self tapping screws. They come with screws, but I prefer self tapping screws when I’m on a ladder and pushing down with my drill gun. They are not creased. So I recommend you just use a metal speed square and fold it in the middle with your hands.
