This gutter Y comes in handy when combining 2 down spots to one outlet. There is a left and right Y simply for the reason that there is a seam and 2 extra rivets on the back but technically if these don't bother you showing (they are not super obvious unless you stand right in front of the Y) then one can also just flip it. The bottom is crunched to fit into another gutter length and the top is straight to be able to receive a gutter length. I use this Y on my Garden shed gutters to combine the outlets for rain water collection into my rain barrel. This Y works perfect for this application.
