There is no slack in these tuners.Learn what 21:1 means. I have grover imperials, these are better!Cant be beat for the money.

These tuners are a downgrade from the ones that come with a cheap guitar. They lock good but the play/rotation is ridiculous.

Installed a set (bought 2) on a D'ANGELICO. Did not come close to factory tuners they were intended to replace and they were not great either. I installed (and removed) 1 set now in junk drawer as it is not returnable. Not fit for another guitar. In this case you don't even "get what you pay for" functionally for tuning. They look good but that is it. Returned unused set.Spend the extra and buy better, these are not usable to me. Ended up buying some Grover Imperials in black.

I got these because they were a cheaper option from the Grover impearls. Well, they are definitely cheaper. The locking mechanism is the only thing that is good on these. They have a lot of movement when you move the tuner from one direction to the other. They look extremely cheap.
