This unit read all zeros when I first powered it up. I thought it was just junk, turns out the cheap Amazon current transformer coils were. We ordered current transformer coils from grainger. They were expensive, but they work great. This unit does what it says, it gives amp draw on 3 or less legs.

We installed AC Ammeter in our panel only to find out it does not work. I ended up ordering a new one from another company (NOT AMAZON). I guess it true you get what you pay for. I highly suggest spending more money to get something that works.

The readout portion showed up , but there are no split core ct’s or inducers to attach the leads to. They don’t tell you that when ordering. So this meter shows up and I ask the seller where the ct’s or current sensors are and i received a canned response in “Chinglish”, that doesn’t remotely address the problem. So be advised; this thing is not complete. You need to order 100amp split core ct’s to make this work

Very slow to respond to changes of load. 5A CTs are pricey and harder to find then they were 25 years ago.

I have 3 CT's rated 0-20 amps, 0-5V dc. Reading on meter is 0.0 A , I have it programmed for 0-20 amp. and i have verified that i have 4 vdc coming out each of the 3 CT's at load, but the meter still reads 0.0 A, i have tried other settings as well, and still no change in meter reading. I even tried changing the meter with another of the same, 0.0Aany ideas ?
