We have one old peach tree that we tend to loose all of the fruit to critters every year. I decided to order these individual fruit protector bags this year to see how well they work and so far I’m very pleased with how easily they are to use.Each bag has a drawstring and when the bag is applied over your fruit the 2 ends are drawn snugly around the branch and tied off if desired. A simple half hitch knot seems to hold these in place sufficiently.For most fruits I believe the recommendation is to bag when they are about golfball size. I applied slightly earlier. In any case these bags are large enough to apply to larger fruits later in the season if necessary. These will easily fit over mature large apples for reference.Green color is nice as they blend in well with the foliage but sill very easy to locate.Very satisfying with these bags and I plan on using them later in the season on our dragonfruit as they are plenty large enough for most of theirs we grow.My grading scaleMy ratings are based on one or more of the following characteristics. Last year, the Seedlsss Flame Grapevines on the south patio here had a wonderful crop. I do mean it when I say "had". It was as though I woke up the next morning after I noticed several bunches of grapes were ready to be picked, only to find that the birds (I'm out in the country so the bird population is very large here) were up earlier than I was! Well turn the page to this year, and these fine mesh bags are going to protect this year's harvest. The bags are a bright lime green color so they will blend in well with the other patio plants, and there are two ties on each bag so I can pull the bags closed on each side. See the photo attached to this review for a closeup of just how fine this mesh is.
