Good grips. No issues and none expected after installation. Our family has a fleet of mountain bikes so we are no stranger to bicycle maintenance (mixture of 3 Specialized Stumpys, 2 Treks, 1 Cannondale and others). i.e. We don't need to pay a "bike mechanic" to bleed hydraulic brakes or really anything else on a bicycle. After all bicycles are not rocket science; this technology has existed more than 200 years now so working on one is really not difficult as long as you're willing to get your fingers dirty. We hope this information is helpful in your decision. Cheers ! !

I say 'so far so good' because these are the first grips I've ever got that mounted via clamps. All my life I'm use to pulling off the old grips, lubricating the new grips and putting them on and positioning them fast before the lubrication starts to dry. Then hope the next morning you got the position right otherwise start over. Point is once those were on, they were usually on. I've heard various stories of grips like these eventually loosening up after time (or up front). Well so far I can say these are not moving. My first tighten level I did was not enough. The grips did move when pressure was applied. So I tightened them more actually worried I might strip something out (or worse snap the bolt). Neither happened. I suppose it would've been nice to have a 'torque' setting that was recommended by the manufacturer (sorry if I missed this somewhere) that way I would know I wasn't going to damage anything and that it would hold. Anyway...I'm not sure I could tighten them anymore, but at this point they are not moving anymore. As you can see I'm a little nervous about this type of grip. It's actually my first upgrade on my new eBike. It was nice that the original grips came right off (they also used this clamp system) and the new grips went right on. I realized at that moment that if I carry around the Allen wrench for a while, I could easily adjust my grips if I felt they were not in the right place. This was not possible before so a 100% benefit. I suppose the bike industry has figured all this out since it seems I see this type of grip (the clamp style) more and more these days.I would definitely recommend these. 40 years ago there was a grip called Oakley's. I'm pretty sure they were the first manufacturer of the ergonomic grip. I used them on my BMX bike and wouldn't use anything else. After a day of riding you could absolutely tell the difference. So that means I'm recommending these grips because of their ergonomic design as well as the clamp system that makes it easy to put on and easy to adjust. As long as the clamp doesn't cause it to slip...this is a definite win all around. IF these start to slip and no amount of tightening fixes it, I will revisit this recommendation and adjust it accordingly. Until then...it's so far so good.

First of all, I was leery of taking off the original grips. They were on there really tightly! But good ole YouTube suggested that compressed air was the move, so I said, what the heck, I'll give it a go. And it worked a charm! Popped the old ones off and had these new ones on in about five minutes. Air compressor FTW! I probably spent most of that time testing to see what angle would suit me the best. I was also concerned that these would twist under pressure, but so far so good. I don't ride trails and putting all my bodyweight on them didn't budge them, so hopefully they're good. I just tightened them as much as possible with the little allen wrench they included and, yeah, I think that'll do the trick. The hand position isn't too different from the oem straight ones, but I think it does feel a little better and should help a bit with fatigue over longer rides. So yeah, a pretty cool fun upgrade.

I was finding my hands getting sore and uncomfortable on longer trail rides requiring tight grip and a lot of maneuvering when using standard grips. I was thinking I simply needed fatter grips, but when I came across this set I figured I'd take a chance on a less conventional design. I've now had them on my bike for a couple of weeks now and have logged probably around 50 or 60 miles of riding, and I haven't had any pain or discomfort in my carpals since installing these! So from that experience these do seem to fit the bill of "ergonomic" for whatever that's worth. They're also just very natural to hold generally, much more comfortable than standard round skinny grips, and there's no sacrifice in control either which is obviously an important consideration. If you're in a similar situation as I was, I think these are definitely worth a try.

My hands used to get numb on long rides. These grips spread the load out, and I can go a bit longer now. Well worth the upgrade price and minimal effort.

I got these ergo-wing style grips for my commuter electric scooter. They look good overall, nice quality and design. They are light weight. They're dual-side locking grips and seem to stay in place very well. The wing shape is a palm rest and comfortable for long commutes... All of my grips are ergo/wing shaped.. once you try that you never go back!. My other grips have softer rubber however. Not that this grip is uncomfortable, but I'm just used to the softer rubber variety. These are very firm and are for people that don't want squishy grips. And if you like it firm, these are nice and the price is fantastic.

I have issues with hand numbness when riding my mountain bike, likely due to my wrist, bending backwards farther than ideal. I actually purchased three different versions of the ergonomic grip from this company (for three different bikes (N+ 1 IYKYK)), and they have definitely made a difference. Easy to install and a good value.
