Cable DOES NOT fit D170. 3-4 inches too short. Had to take apart old one to switch cable.

Did not fit my D140 with Briggs engine, Cable was too short. Double checked part number with John Deere and the part number was correct for my machine but what i received was 5 inches shorter than the original. But I was able to return it, so no harm, no foul.
