I'm not too fond of this chalk, it crumbles too easily... It began crumbling down as soon as I opened the package, so I had to use a piece to rub it on my hands. Good thing is, it didnt give me allergies of any sort, since my skin is super sensitive.

This chalk is a bit messy. I was hoping it would keep its block form, but it has broken into many tiny bits pretty much right away. The block is very light weight. I use chalk mainly for deadlifts. Using chalk has made a considerable difference in the amount of weight I can lift as well as completely eliminated the feeling that the bar is slipping out of my fingers. This is the first gym chalk I purchased. I will probably try a different brand next time to try to eliminate the crumbliness. But I'm very pleased with this chalk for now.

Good chalk. Comes in two blocks, I put one in a small rock climbing chalk pouch and punched it a few times until it became powder. I use it when I do workouts on my rings and my friend uses it for deadlifts. Gets the job done.

Wow!! I will be a customer for life. Got stuck on 315 pound deadlifts because my grip kept giving out even though I felt the rest of me could go heavier. Tried this the first workout after it came. Kept increasing the weights in 10 pound increments until I ran out of weights at 350. So a 35 pound increase in what I can lift just by using this!! Heading out this weekend to pick up a few more weight plates to see what my max really is. Worth EVERY penny!!

This gym chalk is exactly what I wanted it to be. It stays in one piece, doesn't crumble or make a mess, but comes off onto the hands easily. It doesn't leave lasting marks on the barbells, and keeps my hands dry and my grip strong even when I'm tired. Since starting to use this chalk, I haven't had any problems with cuts or blisters on my hands, and in fact barely have more calluses than I would if I didn't lift weights. In addition to preventing injuries, it has allowed me to more fully realize my grip strength. Before using chalk my deadlift was limited by my ability to hold on to the bar. With chalk I am able to use a double-overhand grip on my work set again, and my hands have gotten stronger as a result.Chalk should be a part of any weight lifter's arsenal, and this chalk is effective, a good price, and does everything I wanted it to. I highly recommend it.

How about it - the stores near me don't sell gym chalk!!! Bought this chalk - 4 oz is actually a pretty big chunk - and it does a great job of keeping my hands dry and helping me get a good grip on the bar. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to use chalk and would encourage those wearing gloves to take them off and give this a try.

Provides friction and dryness for the barbell, perform deadlift, snatch, cleans without the bar slipping from your grip. The block can be broken easily, either grind it down to powder or break it to little pieces and rub the fragment on your hand. It's been great for me, I keep it in one of those cheap plastic food containers near my weights.
