these tiles are extremely thin for the price. i would invest into other tiles unless you want these. the box it came in was literally like 2-3 inches wide. they are quite robust however. but im not too sure how floor protection will do with these if you drop heavy weights on them. this is more for general use with no (or very light) weights.

I wasn't sure if such a thin rubber mat would protect my workout area, but I am pretty sure it will given it's density; it probably won't protect from high drops of heavy weights, but casual drops should prevent damage to the flooring below (I have vinyl plank flooring). Installation was easy; the pieces fit together pretty easily, including the edge and corner pieces. If you need to trim the pieces to fit oddly sized rooms, a sharp utility knife works well (it did for me!). I'm very pleased with the final product, and feel it is well-worth the price!

This rubber fitness flooring is of higher quality than most of the top-selling EVA foam fitness flooring products on the market. Many of the other products are too squishy and soft for weight lifting, this product feels just right, well thought through. I am looking forward to doing my workouts on it, and expanding the area by purchasing additional units now that I know this is a quality product.It comes with assembly instructions, but they are not really necessary, as I was able to put the pieces together in a few minutes.
