My daughter played with this at a friend's house and absolutely loved it! So I knew I had to get her one! She loves it!! It helps her with balance, coordination, and she just has a fun time playing on/with it! I would definitely recommend getting it! Also-the pump for it does come with the horse-don't order another one like I did!!

My 1 year old granddaughter simply loves to bounce on Rody. She is not able to bounce unattended yet but it won't be long. The horse is sturdy and the ears are in a great position to help steady a toddler.

I don't usually review items but I thought I should share my experience. My sister has one at her house, and my daughter loved it! So we decided to order it. The first rody we received could barely stand on its own due to defective manufacturing. One of the feet was smaller and softer than the others. We returned it thinking that we just received a bad one. When we received the second one, it had the same issue but on two feet. At least this one is somewhat balanced, so we kept it since our 17 month old loves bouncing on it. We just have to stay next to her in case it topples over. Oh and as other reviewers have mentioned, the stench is a bit overwhelming! A sickly sweet smell. I don't think it is worth the price.

I thought my kids would really like this toy - I had no idea how much - Rody is awesome - my 1 year old loves it, my 5 year old loves it, even my 7 year old, who I thought would be too big for it, loves it. It is a super fabulous toy and everyone with kids needs one. My 5 year old is really rough with it and it is so durable, he's been bouncing all around the house on it ever since we got it. Really great investment for the money - never gets old. LOVE the rody!

I ignored the age guidelines for this toy and purchased it for my almost 18-month-old son for Christmas. He is very active and loves to run around, so I thought this would be a perfect gift. He attempted to sit on it a couple of times when he received it, and can get on and off without a problem, but since then has ignored it. He did not understand how to hop around on it despite his dad and I trying to demonstrate. I think maybe he will be better suited to it at around 2. Then he will have better balance as well.I think this toy is well constructed and durable. I blew it up using our air compressor, despite the fact that the directions say to use a bicycle pump or the Gymnic pump you can purchase. I did not have a bike pump and did not want to spend the extra money on the Gymnic. The provided adapter worked just fine with my air compressor.Rody does smell a little "rubbery" out of the package but that did not bother us or our son. He is cute and I think my son will have a lot of fun with him some day. I think I should have adhered to the guidelines and waited until he was at least 2 to purchase.

Bought this for my almost 2 year old daughter. She LOVES it. It's small enough to be convenient to move and big enough to handle all the bouncing and jumping a kid could throw at it. You will definitely need an air pump to fill it correctly, unless you have super-human breathing powers.When I first purchased this I was worried that if my kid fell off it while bouncing that she would get hurt. I worried for nothing. The fall would be less than a foot at most.There IS a plastic smell. HOWEVER, it isn't that bad and after 3 days of sitting in the playroom the smell is gone. Great toy to help teach stability and it definitely gets in some exercise.

Our toddler was straddling our dogs and bouncing. We wanted to get this toy for him anyway, but his treatment of the dogs precipitated the purchase. It was a great solution. The bright green is really cute. The ears are a great way for our toddler to steady himself. We do have to blow Rody up again on occasion. Our 7mo old loves his jumperoo, and our toddler gets jealous, so this toy is a great solution. The kiddos can bounce and jump together...one in a "baby jumper" and one in a "big boy jumper." The material is strong and should last few our kids and beyond.

I bought this for my little guy who just turned 2 after seeing it at a friend's house. He's had a blast with Rody. I like that it's not loud and he tires himself out playing with it. He will just sit on Rody like a chair to watch TV or bounce around on him. He's also had his stuffed animals sitting on it & bounced them around. Rody is a good design so that my son isn't wobbly on him and can sit comfortably with out me worrying that he's going to fall over.He's able to get off & on Rody by himself though he is a larger than average 2 year old (he wears a size 4 or 5). It seems to be a very durable toy & was easy to inflate (I did buy the pump that the company who makes Rody sells, the reviews for the knock off pump were bad so I skipped that). I also like that this is latex free so it's not an allergy issue for him.My older kids have been having a great time on him, too. The weight limit is listed as up to 250 lbs & I believe it. All my kids are very tall for their age (my 12 year old daughter is 5'11 and my 9 year old is 4'9) but they still fit on Rody and have been enjoying him as well. Though now they are begging for Rody Max, the larger size. LOL

We bought this for our 19 month-old daughter for Christmas this year. She loves to bounce, so I specifically looked for a toy that would allow her to bounce like the wild thing that she is. Rody is perfect!! We bought the base that allows her to use it as a rocking toy as well. She can still bounce on it with the rocker attached, so she gets twice as much fun out of one toy. I read in other reviews about Rody tipping over when not using the rocker - she only used it without the rocker for a few minutes and did tip over, but that was part of the fun for her. We put the rocker on to see what it was like and ended up just leaving it on since she can still bounce on it with the rocker attached. Note - you have to add/remove the rocker while Rody is deflated. Rody is made out of a super-thick rubber material, so it appears to be very durable. The rocking base (sold separately) is very sturdy too. This is already one of her favorite Christmas toys!! I love seeing how much fun she has playing with Rody - very satisfying purchase!
