Love this product! Bought it for my son years ago..... now bought for my niece from Amazon. Package arrived in original box, no extra protection in an amazon box. Package is quite banged up. It is a Christmas present so I hope the item is not damaged when we inflate it.Not cool amazon! Don’t skimp on packaging to save $$$! The amazon box protects original packaging!Actually received another order the other day same way. Luckily my son was not home to see one of his Christmas presents on front step. The amazon box also protects item from being seen or known by others!

We originally saw this toy at a children's clothing store in Winston-Salem, NC and my kids fell in love with it.They get to watch a show after dinner and choose to sit and bounce on their Rody while they watch, which helps get their last bit of energy out.We have 2 Rodys now and are going to order another one soon. They have held up very well, and my kids are rough with toys. Such a great gift for anyone over 3, they deflate easily, just pull the plug out, no need to squeeze the valve like with pool toys. Fold up well for travel and clean up with mild soapy water. I tried a Lysol wipe and I feel like it has a sticky feeling after.Hope your kids love this as much as mine do!

I originally bought this Rody just because it was adorable and I thought my friends kids would get a kick out of seeing it when they came over. No matter how many toys I have here, this is ALWAYS the go-to for kids of varying ages....sometimes teenagers and hilariously enough even adults! Our Rody has gone through countless play times with people of all ages and is still in practically perfect condition over the years. What I thought would be a funny little toy has turned out to be a staple for guests and is always a hit when we have company. Everyone should have a Rody!

My daughter seems to not get the hang of it. She almost looks too big for it (she's 2) or the product seems to not inflate all the way (but we've inflated it to the max, where it seems like it's about to burst). She falls off easily and doesn't bounce well on it. I thought it would be like the videos but instead of bouncing up and down my daughter seems to lose her balance on it quickly. Maybe it's just because when I first gave this to my daughter she was still trying to balance out having a large head (don't toddlers look like cute bobble heads, lol) but her balancing skills are much better now. I'll try to give it to her again and see if she can play with it more now. Before she would bounce and go flying off the thing but I think she's gotten more skills at balancing the past 4 months and will be able to use this more in the spring. I like it because it's adorable and seems like it will be a ton of fun once she gets used to the concept. She really does have fun on it the times I let her play but I always have to put pillows around her and be on alert in case she falls. As she gets older though she'll have a blast.

This product will appeal to all children who like to bounce up and down on inflatable rubber horses. And to boot, it provides valuable life lessons: repetitive, pointless and ultimately without meaning. A great purchase !

We bought a Rody Max for our 7 year old daughter a year ago and our preschooler was so jealous she had to have one too. Now we have this small Rody for her and the Rody Max for her sister. They go bouncing up and down the hallway and race eachother all the time. VERY good excersice and a great indoor toy for when the weather is not ideal outside. I have bounced on the Rody Max myself and can vouch for its sturdiness. Someone should make and excercise video with these things! The small one is pretty small/short and my 3 year old kept falling off the back when she first got it but that didn't stop her from getting back on the horse (pun intended). We have been very happy with them so far and would highly recommend it.

I bought the pink rody for my daughter's first birthday, i know it's recommended for children at least 2 yrs old but she's a tall one year old and is already taking steps so i figured i'd get it now, let her get used to it and by the time she's two she'll be a pro! Right now i think i love the rody more than she does though but i know that will change. She hasn't quite figured out that her legs can make her bounce but she really enjoys it when we bounce her on the rody she just smiles so big it's adorable. She likes to hit the rody and lay on him and every once in a while she will want me to put her on him and bounce her, i know that rody will be put to good use once she figures out what to do, she'll be unstoppable! I would definitely recommend the rody to anyone with a toddler, it's just so adorable and fun and super durable. I tell everyone about them...literally everyone!

I purchased the Rody for my daughter's first birthday, as she loves to climb on things and I thought it might be a safe alternative to some of the things she's attempted. She definitely cannot play on it without help/support, but loves to be bounced on it while holding onto the ears, as well as stand holding onto it. My 2 1/2 year old can bounce on it easily and drag it around. It does have a strong smell. Even after being out of the box and in the garage for a couple of days, it had a strong smell when we brought it in for her birthday. Even now, almost three weeks later, I can smell it if it's in the same room. That's the only complaint I have about it. I think it will be a great outside toy and one my kids will enjoy for several years.

I was so excited about this toy because of all the positive reviews. Here are my issues:1. It is recommended for ages 3 and up because it has small parts that are choking hazards. My 3 year old tried to ride on Rody and when she sat down, he's so low to the ground that my daughter's knees were up to ears, making it impossible to bounce at all. Rody is VERY unstable and she kept flipping over him onto her head.2. My 18 month old also tried to get on Rody and again he is SO unstable and wobbly that she kept tipping over to the side....luckily I was there to catch her.I just cannot figure out why people like this toy. Once a child is coordinated and large enough to maintain balance on good old Rody, they are too big to be able to bounce at all
