After reading reviews posted by other quilters, I knew I had to have it. If you chain-piece at all, this is a real time saver to keep next to your sewing machine. You could use the thread cutter that is on the side of your machine, but that is in one place and who wants to wear that out? This little gem sits on the table, ready to snip those connecting threads in a flash. It's a great invention, way to use up those rotary blades that won't slice through entire pieces of fabric, but still have some sharpness left to snip threads. Highly recommend it.

Wow! This works great and makes quick work of cutting quilt pieces apart! Buy one! Don't forget you need your own old cutter blade.

I had my doubts about this, but it is a real time saver. I chain quilt pieces and it's perfect for cutting the threads between the pieces. It uses an old blade that still has some life in it. Excellent product!
