It comes with light and sound sensors, works with lasers, and a dedicated IR module is included. Also, it has an auxiliary port for attaching additional sensors. The shutter release can be programmed for timed sequences and capture modes, including AF, single and continuous shooting, and bulb. Digital Channel Matching allows for fast wireless connection of up to 328' with a Capture system.

Just received this and on the very first page of the manual it says that to use it wirelessly you need to buy an extra module, and if you want to attach to your camera you need to buy a cable separately. Why would you sell something that arrives unusable?

I am using this unit in all its modes detecting light, laser and sound sources. Great performer but a little difficult to understand the miniature user's manual. Better information on YouTube and Internet.

It works very well for me but it has a major weak point. I've had 2 break in the same way - the 2.5mm port where you connect the camera broke off of the circuit board of the detector making it useless. If they would make that connection more sturdy, I'd give it 5 stars.

It was fairly easy to set up and I was exited about the functionality it displayed right out of the box but the 2.5mm port, that connects to the camera, cracked off the circuit board solder points during first use.Perhaps the 3.5 mm-2.5 mm adapter added more leverage but it wasn't like there was rough treatment.After missing the shot that I bought this for I'm debating weather or not to send it back or solder on a 3.5 mm connection that it should have been made with in the first place and (epoxy it in place).

I love this thing! I have been using this with a gun-sighting laser to get some amazing splash photos. I was able to adjust the timing to get the splash at the precise moment I wanted.
