I've been enjoying this shirt while outdoor hiking in the southern Arizona desert. It breathes very well and reflects the heat quite well from the hot desert sun. It dries very quickly from being wet. The fit is a little on the smaller side based on similar shirts I own, so you might want to consider buying one size up from what you would normally wear. It's meant to fit a bit loose, but not baggy. Material and construction seem solid, so I am expecting to use this shirt for my outdoor activities for years to come.

I’ve worn a few of these fishing-style shirts over the years, and I feel this one can compete with the best of them, such as Columbia. The nylon fabric is a welcome upgrade from the usual cheap polyester—it doesn’t hold odors and feels lighter on hotter days. The back venting really helps, letting the breeze in just when it's needed the most. Style-wise, it looks sharp enough for more than just the dock. I've worn this in the office, too. The SPF 50+ protection is an added bonus when I find myself outdoors for a while. My only gripe is the limited stretch—if you’ve broader arms, it can feel snug when moving about. Otherwise, a cool shirt I plan on wearing regulalrly--indoors or outdoors.

Right out of the package, I had my doubts - as the collars were curled. And with no pockets for collar tabs, it's only going to get worse. To be clear, I wouldn't expect a casual shirt to have provisions for collar tabs - but I like my shirts to be neat and in order - this is sloppy.Next I tried it on. Normally, I'm somewhere between a large and XL, depending on the brand. So I tend to err to the large size when trying something new, as a little loose is better than too tight - so I ordered this in XL. Unfortunately, this XL is tight across my shoulders and back - and BARELY covers my belt. I doubt I put on 20 lbs in the last 3 days, otherwise this shirt was just made too small. So if you do want to try one - order a full size up, maybe two for a comfortable fit.Overall, I cannot recommend it. It's not AWFUL, but for me - it's not a keeper.

A very well made fishing shirt for pretty much everything you need for a long day on the water. SPF50+ rated to help keep the sun off where you don't want it shining. This is a short sleeve shirt so if you need arm protection then you'd want to get some sleeves - or you'll have a killer farmers tan. Roomy around the torso with a back vent to help keep you cool. Pocket drains for when you get caught in a downpour or decide to jump in to cool down, and pocket flaps are held down with velcro. There's also a velcro closure rod holder over the left chest pocket. Just be careful with that rod or you'll poke your eye out. There's a very nice feature on the bottom left side of the front of the shirt which is a small strip of terry cloth to clean your glasses or dry your fingers after handling a slimy fish. And then you'll smell like a fish near the bottom of your shirt, right along the waistline. The collar turns up for added protection if you want to keep the sun off your neck. Because nothing is worse than a red neck.

Great Shirt – Just Be Sure to Size UpI was really looking forward to getting this shirt, and overall, it’s very well made. The nylon material (as opposed to polyester like some others) is a huge bonus. It’s super lightweight, breathable, and dries quickly—perfect for fishing and other outdoor activities.I ordered a size Large, which is what I typically wear, but this definitely runs small. At 6'2" and 180 pounds, the Large was short in length and tight across the shoulders, especially when reaching or moving my arms forward. Unfortunately, since I received this shirt as a Vine customer, I’m unable to return it. I’m disappointed that I won’t be able to wear it and give it a full test. That said, I would still absolutely buy this shirt again—it’s one of my favorites in terms of style and construction. Just make sure to size up!

This shirt has just the right amount of fishing shirt styling, I like the velcro closure pockets, accessory loop, rod holder and vented back. The cloth sewn into the hem is a thoughtful bonus feature. I prefer shirts without shoulder epaulettes so this one is perfect. The material didn't have a strong odor, but it did feel 'funny' when I took it out of the package so I laundered it and it feels so much better. I wear a 'medium' the proportions on this shirt are perfect. The shoulder seams don't droop past my shoulder, the neck is just the right size and the body of the shirt is neither tight or baggy. The hem is just the perfect length and shape to wear untucked. It's still cold outside, but I am looking forward to wearing this shirt as soon as the weather warms up.

This is a good quality shirt that looks really cool as a casual outdoor wear. With the right combination, it makes a good hiking, fishing or camping outfit. The material is all synthetic but thick and well made. The two Velcro pockets on the chest are good for all sorts of small gadgets. It clearly offers solar protection yet keep in mind that this is short sleeve and thus your arms are not protected. This item also offers water resistance since the synthetic material has some water repellent feature keeping you not completely soaked in wet settings. The fit is perfect and some wrinkle resistance exists. My only concern is the price. $31 is a bit too high. I think something less than $25 would be more ideal. Yet still I give 5stars due to other positive parameters.
