As a drummer for over 25 years, I have high expectations for my hardware. While I have super high-end hardware, I had to give this hi-hat stand a try for my son's drum set and I was pleasantly surprised. This stand feels solid under foot, has good responsiveness when hammering down on the pedal, and looks high-end with the brushed finished on the pedal.The stand came packaged well and set up in under 30 seconds; simply unwrap it, hook the pedal into the stand, install the tube assembly, and add your hi hats with the included clutch.We were able to put this through some testing and everything stayed solid and locked into place. Absolutely recommend!
