Swim shorts and swim shirts are game changers for those who are self-conscious about their size and who want to look good and be comfortable. Item is well made. Very comfortable and nice looking. I like the fabric, because it's not overly thick - easy to move in -smooth, silky -but not super clingy. I spent a lot of time reading the reviews, because the size chart isn't always helpful as there are so many variations in bodies. For example, i bought a 4x even though my bust is smaller than the measurements in the chart, but i needed a roomier fit for my waist and hip. It worked out perfectly for me. I purposely avoided buying a swim shirt with a built-in bra, because the bras are really big on me, so keep that in mind. I found a fantastic Hanes Bra to wear under the swimshirt and it not only gives lift, it provides for modesty. This shirt is good for apple shapes. I have paired it with G Gradual 9" board shorts with cell pockets, and I am looking to wearing it to swim at the beach and pool!
