It is much smaller than expected and compressed wood not expected for the price. Took quite a while to put together so give yourself that. Will use for now because it would be too cumbersome to return.

I love my new hall tree with bench. At first I was overwhelmed thinking it would be hard to put together but I followed the directions and it worked out great. Love it!

Very disappointed. Have only had the item for 6 weeks and already one of the hooks tore through the cheap wood. Only thing on it was 1 ladies coat. If you want something to look at, this will work but if you live somewhere cold that requires you to have coats go for something else. This really won't do the job for kids school bags either.
